FaZe eliminated G2 from the ECS Season 3 Finals in two maps, Overpass, 16-10, and Train, 16-11, for a spot in the playoffs.

The first map, Overpass, started the way of G2, as they won the first pistol round on the terrorist side and started to run away with the first half taking a 6-1 lead before FaZe could even react. Behind 4-7 on the scoreboard, Finn "karrigan" Andersen won a 1vs2 clutch in an afterplant situation after Dan "apEX" Madesclaire had cleared the A site with a triple, keeping early game close.

FaZe was then able to win the second pistol round to tie the match up, 8-8, going into the second half. With the momentum going their way, FaZe, took the lead 12-8 before G2 could win a round. Both teams then traded rounds, but FaZe finally were able to overcome G2’s defenses to take the map 16-10.

The second map, Train, started out a much closer affair. FaZe was able to win the pistol round on the terrorist side, but after six rounds, a 3-3 score was on the board. The side, however, once again went the way of the European combine, who took a big 10-5 lead to the half with a very solid Håvard "rain" Nygaard leading the way.

The second half started with G2 winning the second pistol round, but two desert eagle headshots by Nikola "NiKo" Kovač and rain got FaZe back on the driver’s seat. The French team, feeling against the ropes, started force buying as FaZe accumulated rounds all the way to a 14-6 lead. Finally G2 was able to strike back, taking a handful of rounds to double digits, but finally FaZe got to match point and followed it up to close the map and match, 16-11.
