Counter Logic Gaming have pulled off the unthinkable upset versus fnatic with a 16-12 (6-9, 10-3) scoreline on de_mirage at ESL ESEA Pro League Season 1 Finals.
fnatic started their opener at the $250,000 ESL ESEA Pro League Season 1 Finals as well as one might expect, going up 6-1 on de_mirage against CLG as counter-terrorists.
Problems started soon after, and though Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson and Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer secured the Black and Orange a few clutch rounds, they half a measly 9-6 lead at half.
CLG pull off the unthinkable
After winning the second half pistol round as well, CLG did not repeat the mistake of losing a second round buy, and racked up seven rounds straight to go up 13-9 before fnatic replied.
