As many of you know we the first major tournament coming up next on Tuesday, the Extreme Masters III Continental Finals Europe and Global Finals.

We will see the best of the best compete against each other, and my team will of course be there as well, going for the 1st place.
The point of this article is for you guys who have an account on XLBet like me, and I want to share my thoughts on some of the bets coming up for next week.

First, we have group A with:

I have decided to analyze three bets in group B, one safe bet, one match that could go both ways, and a bet that is unsafe but really could make some money.

mTw vs. Blank            1 = 1.05     X = 16.00     2 = 7.50

Well, this is probably the safe bet. I know that SpawN is playing with Blank, but he hasn’t been playing a lot lately and he can’t be in his best shape at the moment. And on the other hand we have been really stable, winning the Danish event Kwazq #2 and beating SK Gaming and former GamePlay online in EPS.sca.

XLBet.Mirror vs. n!faculty         1= 1.75     X = 13.00     2 = 2.01

This is the match that can go either way, we have a Danish team that has been playing really well lately, but they lost their tactical leader ArcadioN, because he wanted to focus 100% on school. So we don’t really know how it will affect their game after his decision.
The team of n!faculty have also been performing very well lately, probably sharing the 2nd rank in Germany with Alternate. They will however be forced to use silver instead of shiddy on day two, which shouldn’t affect this bet.

I am really tempted to put my money on n!faculty because of the fact that XLBet.Mirror have lost their tactical leader lately, and just because of the odds I think I will do so.

mTw vs. XLBet.Mirror (0-5)         1 = 1.72     X = 12.00 2 = 2.07

This match is probably as unpredictable as it can be. We have been playing so many tight matches with XLBet.ATS and with a handicap on them I would probably but my money on a draw or on ATS as the winner of this match. We played them last week at Kwazq  #2 where we won 16-11 and 16-13.

mousesports vs. emuLate        1 = 1.20     X = 15.00     2 = 5.60

This is probably Goliath vs. David at the moment. These two teams have been going in different directions over the past year. emuLate haven’t been playing well lately, losing the recent ESL Pro Series to Millenium.
mousesports on the other hand, have been playing very well lately, unofficially being ranked as a top3 team in the world.

mousesports vs. MYM         1 = 1.58     X = 13.00     3 = 2.25

This is a match that could go either way, but because of the odds I am tempted to put my money on MYM. MYM has been changing some lineups lately and they seemed to have some internal problems. But now they seemed really motivating and hunger for victory, and I’m sure they will do great at the Extreme Masters III finals.

SK Gaming vs. Crack Clan         1 = 1.15      X = 15.00     2 = 4.80

This is probably the most unsafe bet of them all. Crack Clan has really being having problems with their organizations and that must have affected the players. You need to have a stable organization to perform, and the Finnish guys must have had a hard time.  Even though they have lost their star-player ruuit, I do believe that this is the bet that is up to you guys. If you want to gamble this is definitely the bet to do so.

Crack Clan has always being performing well against SK Gaming. SK Gaming performed very well in 2008 winning DreamHack against us as their final event, but in 2009 they haven’t really kept that steam going on. But the year is still young, and the Swedes may have been fooling us all coming up with some great tactics and surprising everybody.

However, if you want to gamble, bet on Crack Clan.
