World Cyber Games 2009 has reached the knockout stages, where sixteen teams stand.

Day two of World Cyber Games 2009 is concluded and eight teams advance from their groups. The big upset of the day was seeing mousesports fail to advance from their group. With losses against Turmoil and Sport in the Game, they place fourth in the group, seeing CMAX.gg and Turmoil advance to the knockout stages.

The knockout stages will kick off on Saturday with the Round of 16, playing best-of three maps. The outcome of the groups has given us a quite interesting bracket, view it by clicking here.

Note that the match between wNv.cn and k23 will be played on the stage, meaning no HLTV will be available.

Saturday will feature the knockout stages going down to the final two teams, who will play the Grand Final on Sunday. The schedule for Saturday is as follows:

04:00CET/11:00local - Round of 16
06:00CET/13:00local - Quarter Finals
08:00CET/15:00local - Semi Finals
10:00CET/17:00local - 3rd place match

You will be able to follow the entire bracket here on HLTV.org, as we will continue to bring you all of the action from World Cyber Games 2009.
